Howell Farmers Market Extends Season

Originally slated to end in September, the popular Howell Farmers Market is getting extended through October.

The Farmers Market, which opened for the first time ever in May, has been a big hit. Vendors sell locally grown fruits and vegetables, freshly baked desserts, ethnic delicacies, gourmet coffee, homemade crafts and more.

“Though we originally planned to wrap up the Howell Farmers Market in September, we felt that just wasn’t enough time for local residents to try so much of what our town has to offer. We also wanted to give vendors the opportunity to showcase their businesses when so many are struggling with the realities of the pandemic,” Mayor Theresa Berger explained.

Until the end of October, the Farmers Market will open every Sunday from 10:00am to 2:00pm in the Howell Township Office building parking lot at 4567 Route 9 North. Interested vendors can download an application for spots directly from the Howell Township website.
